Dear WildCam Fan,

WILDCAM AFRICA
NOMINATED FOR WEBBY AWARD!
The Annual Webby Awards is the internet industry's most prestigious honor, awarded for excellence in websites, online film and video, interactive advertising, and mobile websites. This year, nearly 10,000 entries were submitted to what the New York Times calls the "Oscars
of the Internet," from all 50 states and from 60 countries. The WildCam Team is excited to announce that WildCam Africa is one of five nominees selected for the BEST of the Events and Live Broadcasts category! The nominees for the 12th Annual Webby Awards will be judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Winners will be announced May 6, 2008, and treated to a gala in New York City on June 9.

Expeditions update:
We regret to announce that the trips customized for WildCam Grizzlies and WildCam Africa have been canceled. Unfortunately, not enough people signed up. However, we will try again in 2009. Please let us know of any changes or improvements you would suggest.

Technical reminder:
If you go to one of the WildCam websites and are not sure if there's a problem with the live feed, please click on the forum link for that WildCam. Each camera forum has a Technical Updates/Issues thread where status reports are posted.
